Dr. H. Curtiss Merrick, MD, is a board certified physician in both Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. As an internist, he provides primary medical care to individuals over the age of 21. As a specialist in geriatrics, he evaluates and treats disorders that commonly affect patients over the age of 55. Dr. Merrick is a member of the medical staff at Carteret General Hospital
in Morehead City, North Carolina. Dr. Merrick received a Master of Science in Biology at Old Dominion University. Subsequently, he earned his Doctor of Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He served his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Merrick is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians – American Society of Internal Medicine. Dr. Merrick is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society and the Carteret County Medical Society |

Vicki L. McCormack, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant. As such, Ms. McCormack works in conjunction with Dr. Merrick to provide care to our patients. Ms. McCormack received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Butler University in Indianapolis. Subsequently, she earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies at Butler. Ms. McCormack is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
