
Dr. H. Curtiss Merrick,
MD, is a board certified physician in both Internal Medicine and
Geriatrics. As an internist, he provides primary medical care to
individuals over the age of 21. As a specialist in geriatrics, he
evaluates and treats disorders that commonly affect patients over the
age of 55.
Dr. Merrick is a member of
the active medical staff at
Carteret General
Hospital in Morehead City, North Carolina. Additionally, he
serves as medical director of the Century Care of the Crystal Coast
Skilled Nursing Home in Morehead City.
Dr. Merrick received a Master of Science in Biology at Old Dominion University. Subsequently,
he earned his Doctor of Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He served his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at
the Geisinger Medical Center.
Dr.
Merrick is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric
Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of
the American College of Physicians – American Society of Internal
Medicine. Dr. Merrick is a member of the
North Carolina Medical
Society and the Carteret County Medical Society.
